The Nike Women’s Marathon Hits San Francisco!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is beyond thrilled for the Nike Women’s Marathon, a race to benefit LLS and Team In Training (TNT), taking place on Sunday, October 20th in San Francisco! The Nike Women’s Marathon is the largest women’s race in the world and one of the biggest athletic events in San Francisco every year, drawing thousands of participants and supporters from across the country. LLS is honored to play such a big role in the race and will be hosting events for participants all weekend long!

This year’s race is a particularly special event, since its TNT’s 25th anniversary and the Nike Women’s Marathon San Francisco’s 10th anniversary! LLS will be hosting several exciting events throughout the city for the weekend, including a TNT Lounge in Macy’s Union Square, a Finish Line Experience TNT Tent and a VIP Top Fundraiser Dinner on Friday at the Starlight Room in the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, featuring a wine donation from Scheid Vineyards!

And don’t forget, if you want to get involved with the Nike Women’s Marathon but will not be racing, you can always volunteer for a variety of jobs and shifts throughout the weekend. Click here to learn more about the volunteer opportunities with LLS!

We wish all of the runner’s good luck on Sunday! GO TEAM!
