Alec & Emme: At the heart of it all

They are the heart of the 2012 Man & Woman of the Year campaign and winning their battles with cancer.

As the 2012 Boy & Girl of the Year, Alec Simas and Emme Webb are the inspiration behind our candidates. Their moving stories shed light on the need for new and improved therapies, as well as, ongoing support for survivors. Survivors, especially pediatric survivors, face a whole host of possible latent effects and complications as a result of treatment.

Alec and Emme are two of the most incredibly positive kids you will ever meet and we are proud to feature them on the Truly Relentless banner for the next couple of months.

Here’s a little snippet about each.
